Alberta Miculan has over 25 years’ experience working in the immigration industry. She was formerly engaged as a Senior Immigration Officer at the Australian Department of Immigration in Los Angeles. Rebecca Santaera has vast experience working directly within the Australian Immigration industry/sector.
She was formerly engaged as a Migration Agent in private practice. Since having co-founded Migrationways in 2014, she provides expert advice and assistance for employers and Visa applicants, particular in Melbourne’s Italian and South American community. She has also forged strong business relationships amongst the Hospitality and Trade industries due to her experience with Employer sponsorship.
After graduating from Swinburne University, Rebecca began her career in Italy in 2009, where she worked as an Australian Migration Consultant for two years. It was during this time that she gained an invaluable insight to the needs and desires in migration directly from the Italian community.
On her return to Australia in 2011, Rebecca worked under the supervision of an Immigration Law specialist where she was able to further her skills set by focusing on the onshore visas, in particular the Employer Sponsored Visas and Skilled Visas.

Jason was born in Adelaide, Australia. After completing his studies at the University of Adelaide, he moved to England as an international graduate student.
Jason obtained a Masters Degree from University College London, before spending three years as a government officer managing the accommodation and welfare of newly-arrived refugees in London.
Jason is fluent in Greek, which came in handy when he spent several years working for an English holiday company that specialised in remote Greek islands. After eventually returning to Australia, Jason worked for seven years as an Immigration Officer for the Australian Government.
He has also worked in Multicultural Affairs Policy, Multicultural Community Engagement and Migrant Resource Management, before settling on the Migration advice profession. Jason joined Migration Ways in early 2020, and became a Partner in the firm in 2022.
